Fulvic Acid for Muscle & Joint Pain
I have always considered myself quite fortunate, in that after playing football through college, I came out relatively injury and pain free. The exception was chronic pain in my left shoulder. I’m not very good about going to the doctor and such, but in early 2010 I decided that it was going to have to happen. I had determined to wait until 2011 to adjust my insurance coverage to better pay for the surgery that I was expecting.
I quizzed Howard from Humate Technologies, about the use of Humic/Fulvic with minerals for human consumption and he said there is significant research supporting its effective use in numerous ailments. However, no one in my circle of friends or acquaintances was taking it, or even knew much about it…and in appearance it reminds you of dirt. I was game, and a bit desperate to find relief without prescription drugs and all their side effects, and in May of 2010 I got some powdered humic/fulvic product from Howard and began taking my “tonic”.
I noticed a difference almost immediately and have been totally pain free in that shoulder since. I have taken liquid aloe for several years and determined that in my case, the two work together for greater effectiveness. My “tonic” is a mixture of ¼ to ½ teaspoon , or one to two capsules, of the Humic/Fulvic powder provided by Howard, with 4 ounces of aloe juice; which I was able to purchase from Walmart.
In addition to the shoulder help I find that it keeps me alert and energetic. If I miss a dose, by evening I’m dragging. I often work out at lunch and take an extra dose when I get back to work to get back to an active level.
I am convinced that this Humic/Fulvic product Howard gave me has many uses, and I’m just touching on the ways I will use it. I started working out seriously about two weeks ago. A corn/callus on the side of my foot was causing enough pain to consider staying off the treadmill. I made a poultice of 1 part powdered aloe to 10 parts Humic/Fulvic and added water and a little olive oil to make a “mud”. I put it on a large band-aid, applied it to my foot, and left it there through the night. Five days later, today at noon, I ran 2 miles on the treadmill with no issues.
